Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern use of SmartLinks at smartlinks.uhlabs.tech, operated by UH Labs (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

SmartLinks provides a URL shortener for creators and marketers, including optional Browser Escape pages for TikTok and Instagram in-app browsers, instant redirects, and click analytics. Free accounts receive instant-redirect short links and basic analytics. Premium unlocks Browser Escape and detailed analytics as described on our Pricing page.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our acceptable use rules.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use SmartLinks for malware, phishing, fraud, scam funnels, illegal content, copyright infringement, or to harm others. We may disable short links or ban accounts that violate these rules without prior notice when needed to protect users or the platform.

4. Your content and links

You are solely responsible for destination URLs and any content they load. Short links may be disabled if destinations are harmful, unavailable, or if your account is restricted.

5. Subscriptions & billing

Paid SmartLinks Premium plans are sold as recurring subscriptions (currently monthly and yearly options, including a free trial where offered). Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited and/or its affiliates (“Paddle”), who act as Merchant of Record for the transaction. By purchasing, you also agree to Paddle’s buyer terms where applicable.

Prices shown at checkout (including localized amounts and applicable taxes) are the amounts charged. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can manage payment methods, invoices, and cancellation through the Paddle customer portal linked from your SmartLinks account billing page, or by contacting us.

6. Refunds

Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.

7. Availability

We aim for reliable uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance mode or outages may temporarily limit the dashboard or public link behavior.

8. Disclaimer & liability

The service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, UH Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for losses arising from destination sites you link to. Our aggregate liability related to the service is limited to the fees you paid us for SmartLinks Premium in the three months before the claim.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date on this page. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
